Two things I never thought I'd say.
Well I got on my scale today for some damn reason. I usually avoid it like the plague.
Long story short -- my weight today is 282.2 which puts me at -35.8 pounds!
ALSO, I found a blog from a mama who does crossfit. My neighbor across the street is a crossfit instructor and I have been intrigued but there is no way in hell you could get my chunky ass over there to work out with all those super fit people! Anyway, I was excited when I found her blog and I did the first workout today. It was:
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 10 minutes of:
5 Shoulder Press
10 Deadlifts 15 Box jumps
I just realized that it says to do 5 shoulder presses and I did 8 - Look at me, overachieving on accident HAHAH! I used the 5 pound dumbbells I have and they rocked my world. I was breathing all kinds of crazy and my heart was racing. IT. WAS. FREAKING. AMAZING!
I think I am sold. She does a workout of the day every day. So I am going to try it EVERY DAY for 1 week and see what I think. SOMEONE HOLD ME TO THIS!!!
Tomorrow is my adjustment! I'm excited for some restriction! - I was tempted to eat everything in my house today, but I did not. I stayed under 1300 calories and most of it was protein and I feel pretty damn proud of that.

ReplyDeleteMe too!!! I'm hoping since its kind of a tones down version, I will be able to do it all! Also, since the goal is to do as many as you can in a set amount of time or to complete the entire exercise regardless of time, it lets you work at your own pace and that makes it a lot less intimidating to me!!!
