Nike

I was feeling frustrated today because I need some running gear (marathon training and all... Kill me now!! -- not Really! In having a blast!!) and I went to the running store to get some different shoes So I figured I could look for some clothing there. Well the largest size they had was a size large. UGHHH. The clothes shopping was derailed.

They did, however, have me run on a treadmill and check my gait. It was kind of exciting because as I was watching the video I wasn't thinking wow look at those fat legs. Instead I actually looked at my stride and then noticed how muscular my legs looked. Big change for me.

Anyway I got some new shoes. They're orange. I love them.

Then I got the crazy idea later this afternoon when I got home to look online and see if Nike, by chance, carried any plus size running clothes. Well, they do. They carry sizes up to 3x in Running shorts and training shirts.

So I spent about 120 bucks on a couple pairs of shorts and a couple tops.

I'm super glad that I did that too because this afternoon I went for a run/walk in it was super warm in my leggings.

Anyway, all that to say I am super proud of Nike for realizing that it takes exercise to get from a 3x to a L so they might as well make some workout gear for the chubbs too!!

PS, the Thai massage was amazing. I feel like a new woman.

PPS, I did 90 minutes of yoga and ran/walked 2 miles today --- I'm proud of that.

  1. Love the shoes! Check Target and Kohls for plus sized workout gear, JCPenney too. It can get expensive quick, so I like to look at the thrift store as well. I've gotten great stuff there! Keep it up lady!
