The good, the bad, and the ugly

The good:
I took the stairs today -- 4 flights -- twice.
Even better, I volunteered tonight. 4 hours after a 10 hour day at a free clinic. They teach me so much. I am truly blessed.

The bad:
I haven't worked out since Thursday. I quite literally danced my ass off on Friday and landscaped my front and back yards on Saturday. My legs and ass hurt so bad it's ridiculous!!

The ugly:
Oy veh....
I ate 5 donuts. That's right. You read that correctly! I ate 5 flipping donuts. They weren't even good ones. I have no real reasons... It was a bad decision.


  1. The dancing and the landscaping sound like quite the workout to me. I totally understand about the donuts. I had a Saturday donut binge too. We will get there. Just have to refocus!

  2. I wish I could have a donut...just one. But I'm 99% sure I would PB as soon as I swallowed the first bite!

  3. Dancing and landscaping ARE a work out! And today is a new day! And hopefully a donut-free zone :-) Donuts are a weakness of mine too.
