In laws and AN AWESOME NSV!

My in-laws...

They are here.

It's crazy.

"'Nuff said!"

On a more positive note, all of the things are ready for the expo and the race. And that feels awesome!!

Yesterday I went to yoga. It feels so good. I am ridiculously happy that I started going. I feel 10 times better when I leave. And every time I'm there I notice that I'm getting stronger -- for example, the instructor says to do girlie push-ups to build strength progressing to real push-ups and then chaturanga to up dog so that we have the upper body strength to do everything correctly. I can do more girlie push-ups and do them more easily. That was pretty cool!

Also, my arms are less flabby which makes me a happy girl.

I slowly jogged/walked fast for 3 miles tonight. It was awesome. I found s new trail in this ritzy neighborhood which has trees all around and a little creek. I'm a fan. And it's not too far from my house, which is also a plus.

Tomorrow will be a long day but I'm excited for the race (and in just excited for it to be over, if I'm being honest) its always a good time!

Plans for this weekend include yoga on Saturday, studying (it's week 1 and I'm already behind) and jog/walking on Sunday (which I will need since everyone is coming to out house for Easter... Ughhhhh).

Oh and I signed up for a 5K. It's in 6 weeks. I won't be able to run the whole thing but a bunch of my friends are going to do it, so ill do it too. I do the Susan Komen 5K walk every year (my grandma is a survivor) but this will be the first race so I'm excited!!

I almost forgot my NSV!!

I lay my clothes out every night so it's not a fight for what to wear in the mornings cause nothing looks good at 530 so is never leave the house!!

Last night I chose some black slacks, a black cami and a this paisley cardigan with sequins (it sounds god awful, but it's really very cute and surprisingly still in style. I always get lots of compliments on it).

The cardigan I have worn many times but the first time I wore it it was with a white collared shirt, and a black pencil skirt with black tights and heels for my med school interview here just over 3 years ago.

This morning I put on my pants and cami and got my makeup and hair done and then went to put on the cardigan and it was too big. Not a little big and it could still look cute, but too big like I can't wear it any more.

That is the first article of clothing that that has happened with and though I was frantically searching for something else to wear, it felt amazing.

Absolutely amazing.

  3. Yay! You're rocking the yoga! I might have to try it out. The clothing thing starts getting more frequent. I've found that I have to try everything on the night before to make sure it still fits, because the frantic morning outfit change makes me late every time.
